PHILBRICK, Nathaniel

     Nathaniel Philbrick (n. 1956 in Boston) este autorul unor lucrări precum Sea of Glory: The Epic South Seas Expedition, 1838–1842 (2005), Mayflower: A Story of Courage, Community, and War (2007), The Last Stand: Custer, Sitting Bull, and the Battle of the Little Bighorn (2011) sau Bunker Hill: A City, A Siege, A Revolution (2014).
Pentru Sea of Glory: The Epic South Seas Expedition, 1838–1842, a fost distins cu Theodore and Franklin D. Roosevelt Naval History Prize, iar cu cartea În inima mării, publicată in 2000, scriitorul a caştigat prestigiosul National Book Award.
