      DOUGLAS SMITH este istoric și traducător, fost angajat al Departamentului de Stat al SUA și analist de politică rusă pentru Radio Free Europe/ Radio Liberty. Articolele sale au fost publicate în The New York Times și The Wall Street Journal.

      A apărut, în calitate de specialist, în documentare produse de BBC, National Geographic și Netflix.

      A primit numeroase premii și distincții.
